There’s a lot of buzz about hybrid workouts.
I asked our expert Jo Sharp aka Sharp Moves Fitness
what Fusion Fitness is all about.
This is what I learnt…..
Me: Who did you have in mind when you were creating your Fusion Fitness sessions?
Jo: A boxing ballerina yogi who lifts weights and runs. (You may need to read that twice!)
Me: Interesting combo. I’m pretty sure I’ve got the picture. Tell me more. What do you love about Fusion Fitness?
Jo: Lets face it we want it all….. toned arms, tight butt, firm abs, the rush of cardio and the calm of mindfulness. FF brings together different fitness elements and blends them into an amazing fun workout. It has something for everyone and makes the most of your time.
Me: What about results?
Jo: FF helps the body develop more strength, agility, balance and coordination than a single exercise discipline. You get to experience all the benefits of a particular workout without any of the big commitments.
- improves flexibility without becoming a yogi,
- improves strength without spending hours doing weight training sessions
- improves cardio without training like a triathlete.
- improves posture without spending hours at the Barre or on the Pilates mat.
I’m already a devotee to Fusion Fitness. I just love it. Its the mix that keeps me interested. And whilst I’m no ballerina…. too klutzy… I now have the most profound respect for what it takes to perform with such poise and strength. Wow the Barre moves really are intense!
